Welcome

I am a budding mycologist interested in fungal ecology, systematics, and evolution. Originally from Kerala, India, I moved to Massachusetts to pursue my Ph.D. in biology at Clark University.  Before Joining Clark, I did my bachelor's and master's in Botany. During my master’s degree at the University of Calicut, I was fascinated by the interaction between Auriculoscypha anacardiicola and scale insects. Later, Dr. P. Manimohan trained me in the classical taxonomy and systematics of fungi. 

This website serves two major functions, to share my research as a Ph.D. candidate at Clark University and to document my journey toward understanding various fungi in the Northeastern united states. Please enjoy the fungal facts and pictures and contact me if you have any questions!
