We currently have openings for JRF, and PhD positions. Students with backgrounds in physics and engineering disciplines are welcome. We Work at the interface of physics and engineering of living matter and microfluidics, exploring several interconnected themes. Projects include: impact of climate extremes on soil and marine living matter; engineering sustainable solutions for microplastics mitigation; environmental fluids, complex fluids, and related transport processes; and physics and engineering of soft, active, and living matter. Interested students can email their CV to me at: praneet@iitk.ac.in

JRF: (open until positions are filled)
PhD: (deadline 12th December)
Students should preferably have Master's degree with background in Physics, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Environmental Engineering. However, strongly motivated students from any discipline who are curious about these research directions are welcome.
