Our lab seeks to understand how activity, mechanical interactions, mass transport, and information flow govern the collective behavior, self-organization, and function of living matter. We combine experiments with theoretical modelling to investigate several interlinked themes within the broad domain of physics and engineering of living matter and microfluidics. Please see our publications page for more details on latest research. Students from physics and engineering disciplines are welcome to join our lab.
Researchers in the lab will gain expertise in AI/ML based image and data analysis, microfluidics and optical techniques for medtech applications, and nanoscience technologies.Â
