What We Do

We achieve our mission by developing evidence-based tools and by facilitating a wide range of person-to-person interactions and knowledge exchange.

Which ones meet your needs?

Database

PRI designed a database to record site characteristics, establishment methods, ongoing management actions and floristic changes through time. By analyzing the results of multiple reconstructions across multiple contexts, we can better understand which factors have the greatest impact on the effectiveness of prairie reconstruction techniques and management strategies.

Monitoring Protocol

The PRI vegetation monitoring protocol allows assessment of the trajectory of a planting over time and provides data for objective analyses. When analyzed in conjunction with planting and management history, monitoring data will highlight favorable (or unfavorable!) practices for prairie reconstruction.
