The Prairie Fishing Team was created to give College Community students in 7th to 12th grade access to fishing education, opportunities, and access to tournaments.
We strive to provide a safe place for students to stay active, get outdoors and make connections with their peers. Our mission is to feed the interest and knowledge of fishing in young anglers giving them the tools they need to continue pursuing their passion for years to come.
Several teams from PFT found themselves battling some tough conditions at Lake Okoboji over the weekend of April 25-26th. Despite those challenges, several teams were able to bring in some fish, with two teams qualifying for nationals - which is held in on Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee.
Congratulations Reed & Brycen, and Kayden & Elijah for qualifying for nationals! The Prairie Fishing Team is proud of every angler for the effort, determination, and grit they brought by showing up to fish.
