A new and improved catalog for simpler searching to discover your next great pick.
Log in with your library barcode number and pin to access the full features of the new catalog.
Use My Bookshelf to access your library account to view checkouts, manage holds, view fines and fees.
Users can view reading history, saved searches, and saved lists on the Bookmarks tab.
Please note, users cannot pay fines and fees online through the new catalog at this time. Use the classic catalog to pay fines and fees.
Log in to My Account
Sign in to access My Account and the full features available.
Select Log in to My Account
Select Sign In
3. Enter your library barcode number and pin.
4. Select Submit
You are now signed in. The Profile icon in the upper-right hand corner displays your account name.
The My Bookshelf bar at the bottom displays other account features. Select a feature to view.
Use the up arrow ⋀ in the bottom-right hand corner to toggle between My Bookshelf and searching.
My Account Window
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin to access My Account.
The My Account window provides an overview of your library account including checkouts, holds, fines, and fees.
It also shows your home library and your account expiration date.
Select the Profile icon in the upper-right hand corner to open the My Account window.
From the My Account window, select one of the following to go directly to that tab on My Bookshelf.
Checkouts
Holds
Fines/Fees
Your name - to go to your Profile
From the My Account window, you can also sign out by selecting Sign out.
My Bookshelf
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
My Bookshelf allows you to access your library account information such as your profile, checkouts, holds, fines and fees.
It also allows you to create and edit lists, save searches, and the option to track your reading history.
To use My Bookshelf
Select the up arrow ⋀ in the lower-right hand corner to open My Bookshelf. To collapse My Bookshelf, select the up arrow ⋀ again.
Select the tab you want to use: My Bookshelf, Bookmarks, Saved Searches, Reading History
Select the Bookmark icon in the upper-right hand corner. To collapse My Bookshelf, select the Bookmark icon again.
TIP: When My Bookshelf is opened, you can drag the top border to adjust the height of My Bookshelf.
Checkouts
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
To view and manage your checkouts, select My Bookshelf or Checkouts from My Account window.
From the Checkouts tab, you can
View the items you currently have checked out and their due dates.
Sort your checkouts by Due Date or Title.
Select Renew to renew an item.
NOTE: Items may be renewed as long as your account is in good standing, there are no holds on the material, or you have not already exceeded the renewal limit. Contact your home library for information on renewal periods and limits.
Holds
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
To view and manage your holds, select My Bookshelf then the Holds tab or select Holds from My Account window.
From the Holds tab, you can
View the materials you currently have on hold including status.
Sort your holds by Status or Title.
View and edit Pickup location.
Cancel a hold. Or select the down arrow to Freeze a hold.
TIP: If you place a hold on an item, but you want to wait to pick it up, you can freeze the hold. This keeps your place in the hold queue. When you are ready to pick up the item, you can unfreeze the hold and pick up the item when it becomes available.
Fines and Fees
You may be assessed fines for overdue materials or fees for lost or damaged items. Please contact your home library for details about fines and fees.
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
To view Fines and Fees, select My Bookshelf then the Fines and Fees tab or select Fines/Fees from My Account window.
If you have more than 1.00 on your account, you may pay online. Select Link Out to Pay Online.
Log in to the classic catalog to pay fines and fees.
Profile
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
To view and manage your Profile, select My Bookshelf then the Profile tab or select your Name from My Account window.
From the Profile tab, you can view or edit your Profile information including
Adding or updating your Nickname - this displays as your Profile and My Bookshelf name.
Email address or home phone number.
Preferred pickup location.
Notification preference.
Change your passcode or pin.
Opt in or opt out of Reading History.
To edit your Profile
Select Edit Profile.
Edit the information. (If you see a field that has a question mark icon next to it, select the icon to see additional information.)
Select Save.
Bookmarks and Saved Lists
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
Please note, My Lists have not transferred yet from the classic catalog. Use the classic catalog to access your previous My Lists. List are scheduled to transfer the week of November 27, 2023.
To view and manage your Bookmarks or Saved Lists, select the Bookmarks tab or select the Bookmark icon from the upper-right corner. While searching the catalog, select the Bookmark icon to save a title to a list. The default list is For Later or create a new list such as To Be Read.
From the Bookmarks tab, you can
View saved lists.
Share saved lists.
Edit list name or delete a list by selecting the Options icon.
Select a list name to manage further
Sort by Oldest, Newest, or Title
Remove items from a list
Add items to another list
Select items individually or use Select All or Deselect All
Saved Searches
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
To view and manage your Saved Searches, select the Saved Searches tab from the My Bookshelf bar.
From the Saved Searches tab, you can
View Saved Searches by selecting the Saved Search name.
Share Saved searches by emailing or copying search link.
Edit search name or delete a saved search by selecting the Options icon.
Select the Saved Search name to re-run the search. For example, New Books on Writing Your Resume.
The search results page displays the latest results with your filters applied.
You can adjust the filters and select the Save Search icon. You will have the option to create a New Saved Search or Update an Existing Search.
Reading History
Sign in with your library barcode number and pin.
If you are already opted in to Reading History on the classic catalog, when you sign in to the new catalog your Reading History will sync. Please allow a couple hours upon your first sign in for the sync to complete.
For users that have opted in to save reading history you can view your Reading History. Select the Reading History tab from the My Bookshelf bar.
From the Reading History tab, you can
Sort Reading History by Checkout Date, Title, or Author.
Search for resources.
Email a resource or export a citation of a resource.
Note: Once an item is returned it will be included in the reading history.
To opt IN to Reading History
Select My Bookshelf then the Profile tab.
Scroll down and check Keep Reading History.
Note: Alternatively, users can select Reading History from the My Bookshelf menu bar at the bottom. Select Opt in to Reading History.
To opt OUT of Reading History
Select My Bookshelf then the Profile tab.
Scroll down and uncheck Keep Reading History.
Select Confirm.
WARNING: If you opt out, the system clears all items from your reading history. This action cannot be undone.
4. The confirmation window opens. You successfully opted out of reading history.
You may opt in to Reading History again if you choose.
