PRE-Operation/Task:
· Ensure the plastics spool is correctly fitted into the extrusion head – refer to the User Manual.
· Correctly initialise the printer after it has been moved or relocated.
· Ensure all cables are inserted or connected correctly and securely.
· Pre-heat the perf-board platform (if possible) to maximise effect adhesion and stability.
· Be aware that ABS vapours are toxic. Ensure that your work area is well ventilated.
· Room temperatures are best between 20-30ºC.
· Faulty equipment must not be used. Immediately report any suspect equipment or machinery.
Operation/Task
Never attempt to program this machine without proper training.
Familiarise yourself with all machine operations and controls – refer to the User Manual.
Only ONE person should operate this machine – or remove finished products.
Always wear safety glasses and gloves when removing support materials.
DO NOT TOUCH any moving parts during operation.
Use caution when removing the printed item from the board.
POST-Operation/Task:
· Turn off the printer before placing your hands in the printer and before removing parts
· Take care when removing material from the 3D printer as the nozzle can be extremely hot - you will need to wear gloves to remove print from print board.
· Wear safety glasses and gloves when removing support material and trimming objects
· Clear workspaces of any residue and debris and place waste in the appropriate bin
· Return all accessories. Leave the machine, hose and work area in a safe, clean and tidy state.
