BIOTECHNOLOGY, IMPROVEMENT AND PROTECTION OF CULTURED PLANTS
Its aim is to support Research Projects, dissertations and theses that seek to study problems related to Biotechnology, Improvement and Protection of Cultivated Plants.
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF CROP PRODUCTION
Research Field with the aim of studying the morphological, physiological, genetic, nutritional, phytosanitary (chemical/physical/biological control) and productive aspects inherent to extensively exploited crops in the Northeast Region.
SEED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, BIOCHEMISTRY AND POST-HARVEST PHYSIOLOGY
Development of activities related to storage processes, the main causes of fruit and vegetable losses; post-harvest technology and quality, storage, minimal processing of fruits and vegetables.
ECOLOGY, MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES
The area focuses on studies on the dynamics of use, management and conservation of natural resources, seeking to induce the exploitation of natural resources in order to preserve the sustainability of the ecosystem.
