VARIETY SHOW PARTICIPATION PERMISSION
Each child participating in the Variety Show must have a guardian initial on the sign-up sheet indicating they have read the following. If you have questions about any of the information on this form, please contact Mrs. Fahey, Principal, at nfahey@sd308.org or at (630)636-3611.
ACT PREVIEW:
All acts must submit a video preview and have it approved. (Changes will be communicated if needed) How To Upload Preview Video
STUDENT CONDUCT:
Students are to follow all directions given to them by the adults coordinating and supervising the show. If one of these adults feels that student behavior does not reflect the expectations of Prairie Point Elementary School, students may be prohibited from participation in the show.
SONG/COSTUME SELECTION:
Students must have song choice and costumes approved by the school administration. (Songs, costumes, gestures, and content must meet school code of conduct and age appropriateness.) This is done during act previews. Once the act is approved, no changes can be made. All performances must follow the code of conduct guidelines.
VIDEOTAPING:
The Variety Show may be videotaped by parents for personal viewing with your child’s family. By participating in the variety show, you agree to allow video of performance to be shared through school platforms including school Facebook page, school/district website, and private YouTube channel. Initialing indicates you understand and agree your video may be shared across various social media platforms.
SHOW SEATING:
Your child will be seated in a special section in the gymnasium during the Variety Show, before they perform. This will allow the children to see the show “live.”
