VARIETY SHOW GUIDELINES

Prairie Point is excited to showcase our students in the 2026 Variety Show, and we want YOU to show us your talents! Singing or dancing, magic acts, group skits, instruments, martial arts demonstrations, or comedians – everyone has a talent!
WHAT TO KNOW
*please read carefully as guidelines have changed
• Acts should be no longer than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
• Performers can participate in up to 2 acts.
• Acts can be solos or groups. (All performers must be current Prairie Point Students)
• All acts must follow school code of conduct rules regarding song lyrics, costumes, and gestures/content. (suggestion: Kidz Bop song versions are great alternatives)

• Fill out the google form (Here)
• Please include e-mails for all participants so they can receive show information/updates.
VIDEO PREVIEWS NEEDED FOR APPROVAL
• Every act must submit a preview video of their performance by February 26.
• Preview videos are used to make sure we know what you need on the stage and also that school conduct is followed. (Any needed changes will be communicated to you.)
• In the preview video, participants must perform their act in their intended costume, using all props & accompanying music that they will use on performance night.
• Upload videos using the Padlet App. (see instructions tab under "more" above / How To Upload Preview Video)
MUSIC FOR SHOW DAY
• Provide a copy of your music (edited/cropped) 1 week before the show (March 5).
• CD, USB, or direct link through email (edited/cropped) is acceptable.
• Clearly label your music and drop off in the Prairie Point Office.
• (We will have your music loaded and ready to go on show day!)
