What You’ll Do
Serve as a key advisor on EHS matters to Tesla Charging business leaders, associates, and contractors. Lead contractor EHS management across North American Charging operations, including qualification, onboarding, performance monitoring, corrective action, and EHS alignment through Tesla's workforce management system
Act as an EHS technical expert for Legal compliance and risk management across all product deployment phases, focusing on safe design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance
Provide field-level EHS support across Charging deployment programs — including Supercharger, semi-charging, and related infrastructure — through site visits, pre-construction reviews, and operational readiness assessments
Support the development and implementation of food safety and operational safety protocols for diverse facility types, ensuring compliance with applicable health department regulations and industry standards
Conduct training sessions, inspections, event learnings, and emergency preparedness initiatives to influence daily operations and drive EHS improvements aligned with Tesla's vision and values
Respond to and learn from EHS events, analyze root causes, and develop preventative actions with management and business teams, while promoting Human & Organizational Performance principles in operations. Identify operational gaps and spearhead creative EHS solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, encompassing electrical and other safety aspects
Lead EHS meetings to communicate improvements, learnings, and performance metrics, and actively engage in field activities to educate, train, and empower teams on EHS concepts to minimize risk in line with Tesla's EHS vision and values
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of EHS experience in large organizations, with an educational background in EHS, engineering, or related fields
Experience in the charging, electric power generation, transmission, storage, or distribution industries
Practical experience in construction safety, working at heights, electrical safety, and environmental risks, with knowledge of local and national regulatory agencies
Excellent interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, problem-solving expertise, the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment, and the ability to work independently and as a proactive, creative team player

Lead Residential Solar Installer

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Residential Solar Installer to run installation crews in the field and set the standard for quality, safety, and craftsmanship on every rooftop. The Lead Installer role will be the senior technician on site, mounting racking, setting panels, running conduit, and making the final connections, while mentoring a team of installers and serving as the point person between the crew and the homeowner.
This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who takes pride in code-compliant work and wants to grow with a company expanding its solar footprint.
Responsibilities:
· Lead a team through full residential PV installations, from staging to system commissioning
· Install racking, mounting hardware, modules, inverters (string and microinverter), and balance-of-system components
· Run conduit and wiring, make AC/DC connections, and perform system testing per design specs
· Read and execute from engineered plan sets, electrical diagrams, and permit packages
· Enforce job-site safety, fall protection, and OSHA compliance for the entire crew
· Ensure every install meets the National Electrical Code (NEC) and passes AHJ and utility inspection on the first visit
· Mentor and train apprentice installers, providing on-the-job coaching
· Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent the Slomin’s brand on their property
· Coordinate daily with project managers on material needs, scheduling, and any field issues
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on residential solar installation experience, with at least 1 year in a leader capacity
· Strong working knowledge of PV systems, racking platforms, and major inverter brands (Enphase, SolarEdge, etc.)
· Comfort working at heights on pitched and flat roofs; ability to lift 50+ pounds
· Solid understanding of NEC requirements as they apply to PV
· Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record
· Reliability, leadership presence, professional, and a quality-first mindset
Preferred (a plus, not required):
· NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification (or Associate credential)
· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
· Electrical license or apprenticeship hours
· Experience with battery storage installations

Always On Green Home is a NYSERDA-approved weatherization contractor serving income-eligible homeowners across Queens, Long Island, and the broader NYC metro area through the Empower+ program. We deliver whole-home energy upgrades — insulation, air sealing, health and safety improvements — funded through New York State at no cost to qualifying homeowners.
We are building our first in-house W2 weatherization crew and are looking for an experienced Crew Lead to anchor it. This is a ground-floor opportunity with a growing company that takes the work seriously.
The Role
As Weatherization Crew Lead, you will direct a 3-person crew through residential weatherization scopes of work generated by our energy auditors. Every job is different — you will read the audit report, plan the day, lead your crew through the work, and ensure everything meets NYSERDA and BPI standards before you leave the site. You are the person who makes the job go correctly and represents Always On Green Home in the homeowner’s home.
What You’ll Do
Lead a 4-man crew through full weatherization scopes: attic insulation, wall insulation (dense
pack), basement/crawlspace air sealing, and related measures
Read and execute against NYSERDA energy audit reports and scope of work documents
Operate dense pack cellulose and blown-in insulation equipment
Perform air sealing using spray foam, caulk, weatherstripping, and rigid materials
Conduct pre- and post-job blower door tests to verify air sealing performance
Perform combustion safety checks including CO testing and worst-case depressurization tests
Ensure full ACP-5 lead paint compliance protocol on pre-1978 homes
Maintain accurate job documentation: photos, scope completion checklists, NYSERDA paperwork
Communicate job status, material needs, and any site issues to management daily
Train and develop your installer and helper over time
What We’re Looking For
Required
3+ years of residential weatherization or insulation installation experience
Hands-on experience with dense pack cellulose, blown-in insulation, and air sealing
Familiarity with NYSERDA Empower+ program requirements and documentation

Overview
The Installer position is a critical member of a solar installation construction team and is responsible for working in partnership with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete residential solar installation projects. As Sunrun continues to help build a more sustainable future, this position is best suited for someone passionate about solar installation, field safety and working with others.
Responsibilities/The Impact
Ensure personal, crew and job site safety at all times and participates in training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
Review inventory at loading dock to ensure assigned crew truck is stocked adequately
Complete layout and assemble solar modules, the racking, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools in preparation of installation as specified in the project plan

About the Role:
Train to become an offshore wind turbine technician through a full-time, cost-free program at LaGuardia Community College. Participants earn Global Wind Organization certifications and are guaranteed an interview with an offshore wind employer upon completion.
Starting Salary & Benefits:
Starting compensation: $65,000/year
Includes monthly stipend, transportation support, and wrap-around services
Long-term career growth in a 25+ year industry
While offshore, housing, meals, laundry, and fitness space are provided
What They’re Looking For:
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in harsh conditions
Willing to work a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule
Interested in mechanical, electrical, and sustainable energy careers
Must be able to commit to full-time weekday training (Mon–Fri, 9AM–4PM)
