Can I have more than 4 people on a team?
Sorry, but NO. That would give some teams an unfair advantage.
My teammate will arrive late, well they still be able to play?
Sorry, but NO. That would give some teams an unfair advantage as that player will be fresh and ready to play where the other teams will be tired. Teams that are not present at start time will forfeit.
What time should we arrive?
We need to start the announcements and begin pool play as close to starting time as possible, so arrive about 30-45 minutes early to allow time to check in and solve any issues.
What do we do when we arrive?
If you have already registered and paid, please send 1 person to check in and pick up your t-shirts. If you have not paid, be sure you and your team are available to pay in person.
How many games will we play?
Our goal is to have every team play 2-3 games minimum, more if possible.
In Pool play, Teams play 3 games and are then ranked based on wins, losses, and ties; then they will advance to tournament play and play until there is a winner for gold, silver or bronze medals. The number of games in tournament play will depend on how many teams register for overall game play.
How are teams ranked?
In Pool Play: Teams play 3 games and are then ranked based on wins, losses, and ties. Points are awarded as follows:
Win = 2 Points
Tie = 1 Point
Loss = 0 Points
In 3 game guarantee bracket play:
Teams advance based on wins and losses only. All teams are guaranteed a 3 game play minimum.
