3" grade 8 bolts and hardended washers. Can use rubber washers.
Superstrut mounting
Superstruts (HD)
3/8" Spring Nut (HD 5-pack @ $4.26)
3/8 in. Square Strut Washer (HD 5-pack $4.74)
Uses Unistruts as a track.
- 3/8" x 1 1/2" (or 1") stainless steel hex bolt (grade 5)
- Unistrut 3/8" top grip nut or Superstrut 3/8" cone nut
- Galvanized lag screws to drill into roof
Built his mount with unistruts, 2" schedule 40 and u-bolts. Video introduces grounding.
