I installed the app Teamviewer on my tablet. It gives me the connection to my laptop. So last time I was with a customer working on my BI Desktop report with my tablet while Power BI Desktop was running on my laptop (my laptop was at home while I was somewhere else). It does mean that my laptop needs to be active the whole time, but for those times I will be away it helps knowing I can work anywhere on my reports on Power BI Desktop.

I have installed the latest PAD version on my desktop but nevertheless I am unable to check the box to install the machine-runtime app to connect my desktop flows to my cloud flows. Whenever I try to install said app, this is the option I get (install only the PAD app):

There is no machine-runtime app option available in my installation as per the documentation ins this link -us/power-automate/desktop-flows/manage-machines#other-known-limitation... and below:

Turns out I was using Windows 10 Home. Bought Windows 10 Pro and my problem was solved. After I installed Windows 10 Pro, I went ahead and installed the same version I had of Power Automate Desktop but this time I was able to check the box for machine-runtime app.

When powering on the doorbell, you have to be even more careful not to short out the wires because that could damage the Wyze doorbell. Connect the front or back terminal wire and then the transformer wire.

Apps deliver data that your end users need to do their jobs. Now you can automatically install these apps in the Apps content list rather than the user having to find the app in Microsoft AppSource or follow an installation link. This capability makes it easier for you to roll out standard Power BI content to your users.

Once the admin has enabled it for them, app publishers will have a new option available to install the app automatically. When the box is checked and the application publisher selects Finish (or Update app, for existing apps), the app will be pushed to all users or groups defined in the Permissions section of the app on the Access tab.

Important: Installation will require access to wiring, and may require the use of ladders or working in locations with little space. Use a helper if possible and avoid installing the device when home alone.

If the user must be able to install software make them admin. BTW you can make them an admin of only the machines they need to install software on. Don't needlessly make them a Domain Admin. You can use the Group Policy Preferences to easily add them to the local administrators group on machines they are to have admin access on.

I checked the doorbell model, and it is an Edwards C210-W which is on the mechanical doorbell compatibility list for Ring Pro. The transformer is a 16V 10VA which meets the Ring Pro doorbell power requirements.

I installed mine about a week ago, it worked fine for a day. After that day it only rings one mechanical chime and not the second one. Few days later I get a really bad buzzing and vibration coming from the striker. I have had absolutely zero help from ring customer service. They told me to call a technician. The house is literally brand new. The wiring is fine. Ive tried every troubleshooting under the sun with no success. Even removed the device and set up as new. Triple checked all wiring. No success. continues to buzz. Will probably just return it if customer service is going to continue to ignore the fact that my ring has a problem with the unit itself.

I installed a 10 ohm 2 Watt resistor in the manner described in the videos (between hot and ground/neutral and voila! It is now dead quiet and the doorbell still chimes loudly as before. Thanks for the tips it has solved a confounding problem. This solution set me back $1.86 for a pack of two resistors.

Late to the party but thought I could still contribute. Just bought the Ring Pro. Had the same issue with the rattling noise. I replaced the doorbell chimes with a Ring Pro compatible model but still had the rattling. In my case, it turns out the doorbell transformer was not supplying enough power to the Ring Pro. The original transformer was rated at 8-10 V. The Ring Pro needs 16v. I replaced the transformer and have not had any issues so far.
