During this week of learning, I learned many things. I think that the most important thing that I learned was how to advocate for things that I was passionate about.

I learned that 20% of Waco is in poverty and about multiple non-profits in Waco. I also learned how to advocate for an issue through a website.
I learned about a large number of non-profit organizations and how large of an issue poverty is. I also learned about the definition of what it means to advocate for an issue.
I learned about the different types of homelessness and the impacts of poverty.
I have learned how to be more involved in my community. I have also learned how to stand up for something I believe in.
I have learned about different ways to get engaged within my community. I also learned about the significance of numbers contributing to the power to change society.
I learned how to be a leader in my community. I also learned how to advocate for issues that I am passionate about. I learned that it is important to work with others because there is power in numbers.
