Click on the box below to take the point of view check-in:
You have learned so much about point of view! Now it is your turn to work with your partner to create your point of view stories. With your partner you will choose a story that you both know (it cannot be The Three Little Pigs). This story can be written on paper or typed in a Google Document.
Once you choose a story, you and your partner will each re-write the story from a different point of view.
Things to consider:
Will the story be told from the point of view of one of the characters or from the narrator?
Do you and your partner want to start the story from the original beginning?
Your story must include:
A title (different from your partner's title)
An Introduction of your choosing
A different point of view from the original story and from your partner's story
At least, 4 dialogue parts where your character's speak or think to themselves.
At least, 5 paragraphs
Transition words (First, next, then, last...)
An ending
