Here are the baby homes (now named "Centres for children without parental care") and sanatorium, in Perm region, for which the Association “for Kungur” organizes support projects.
The words of the president of the association , Hélène Texier:
"We hope that, thanks to these photos, the children who lived in these houses will again be able to see the places where they once lived and the faces of the ladies who cared for them.
And you, dear friends of Association "for Kungur", you will discover the extraordinary people with whom we are collaborating and who we wish to continue supporting in the Perm region.
You will not see misery on these pictures, you will not see unhappy children (besides, you will not always see children there because the laws prohibit the publishing of images of the children in some instances . .)
We do not want to inspire your pity, but we do want to show you how the people of these instititions wish the happiness of the children and do everything possible to see them happy, since they lack the main element needed to grow up well: the love of the parents.
As a reminder , my husband and I met our two children, Iskane and Nadège in the Kungur baby home in 2007. We know these wonderful people whom we want to support, we have seen them working, we have seen them saving the children.
You will see in these photos the joy of caregivers when we bring gifts for their institutions, but also when we bring news of adopted children. You can imagine the joy of children when we bring them an exhibition, an album or a message from the other side of the world. (And it is, motivated by this joy that we extended our cultural exchanges to schools – and different centers of the region- Let's see our connections in Perm region).
Our association is not subsidized. Every donation, big or small, is essential. Help the association.
Thank you all for your Enthusiasm and support." Hélène Texier
