এই শহরই নাম-না-জানা -

average। এক বিশাল দেশে -

এই শহরই অদ্ভুতুড়ে 

যেমনটি হয় Ohio এসে। 

এই শহরেই হারাচ্ছি রোজ 

আবার খুঁজে পাচ্ছি নিজে 

Scioto র পাশে walking trail এ 

কিংবা Olentangy bridge এ 

এই শহরেই দেড়শ বছর 

লাইব্রেরির পাগলামিতে

Scarlet Gray রং উড়িয়ে 

Stadium হাসি আসছি জিতে

এই শহরেই Donatos Pizza

ছুটিয়ে গাড়ি দিচ্ছি Lane এ 

একটুকুনি Germnay আর 

Victorian বাড়ি নিচ্ছি কিনে। 

সাইত্রিশ ঘর বই সামলাতে 

Book Loft এর কম্ম কাবার,

Mead-Jazz আর Wine-Pizza য় 

Short Noth ফিরে আসছি আবার। 

মনখারাপে Metro Park,

Palace Theatre এ বাজনা শুনে, 

মেঘলা দিনে cemetery 

আর Mirror Lake এ তারা গুনে

Gateway Cinema র নেশাতে 

Polaris এ shopping করে 

Kerouac এর ভালবাসা 

Art Museum ও Monet - র ঘোরে 

মাঠভরা গোলাপে এ শহর 

মায়ায় বাঁধে ফাগুন মাসে 

ঘরহারা মেয়ে ঘর খুঁজে পায় 

বৃষ্টিভেজা কলম্বাসে।
