Poughkeepsie 4 Palestine is a Muslim run grassroots organization founded by Hudson Valley youth, who refuse to be silenced from speaking up against a genocide. Although we are a Muslim-run we emphasize that this in no way is a religious issue, but a human rights issue. The Palestinian people have been condemned to apartheid and large-scale displacement since 1947. Our goal is to raise awareness within Poughkeepsie and the larger Hudson Valley community, about the ethnic cleansing not only in the Gaza Strip but in Palestine as a whole.
