Rahul-Daniyal ( Ra) Kumar is a 14 year old Multi-racial Muslim-American, Poughkeepsie resident. In addition to living in Poughkeepsie, Ra has also spent significant portions of his life in London and Toronto. Ra started Poughkeepsie 4 Palestine in order to educate other members of his age demographic and to advocate against a far-right regime, as well as after being inspired by Edward Said and Amani al-Khatahtbeh. Ra is an avid tennis and basketball player, on the Model UN team at his school, and "sneakerhead". 

Abdulraouf Kablaoui

Abdulraouf Kablaoui is a 17 year old Palestinian and Muslim-American. Abdulraouf joined Poughkeepsie 4 Palestine after working closely with Ra, to organize events amongst the youth to raise awareness on the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Abdulraouf was able to use his experience as a leader in his community and school to make an impact to show the Palestinian struggle to Upstate New York. 

Harper Horwitz

Harper Horwitz (Happy) is a half Jewish American. She believes that taking action and standing up against the genocide in Palestine is crucial at this moment in time. Harper believes one of the best ways to take action against injustice is to educate, which is what inspired her to join the Poughkeepsie 4 Palestine team. In her free time Harper enjoys writing, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

Karan Singh

Karan Singh is a 18 year old Bangladeshi-American. Karan has joined P4P as our treasurer and will be assisting the organization in managing our funds to further our activism. 

Karan is currently a first year college student pursuing his Bachelors in Economics, and outside of  Poughkeepsie 4 Palestine and school enjoys playing basketball, lifting weights, and hanging out with his friends.
