Mrs. Namibia Meduletu Tumangululeni Kandume was born in 1977 at Omakango, Onekwaya-West in Ohangwena Region, and schooled at Ponhoni Secondary School. She was named Namibia Meduletu Tumangululeni by her parents. The parents believed that Namibia will be Independent and governed by its own people. During that time the name Namibia was not recognized by the South-West-Africa administration for that reason still couldn’t obtain a birth certificate without changing the name to another name. After completing her secondary education, she was employed by National Planning Commission as a data collector in 2006. In 2007 she volunteers at Otjiwarongo Multi-Purpose Centre as a clerical assistant. What began as a hobby saw her create Potenza Investment in 2010. Mrs. Kandume is currently the 100% shareholder of Potenza Investment cc. Apart from her company, she studied in obtained her diploma in human resources through the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) She has successfully participated in the SME contractor’s course of Roads Authority offered by Mr. R.W Polzin in 2012 in obtaining a certificate in Labour-based construction.
