Lara Farina is Professor of English at West Virginia University. She works in medieval British literature, sensory studies, and ecocriticism, with a particular focus on tactility, haptics, and embodied practices of reading. She is the author of Erotic Discourse and English Religious Writing and of articles on topics like phantom tactility, monstrous embodiment, and the imagination of botanic sensitivities. She was a co-editor of postmedieval from 2015 to 2020, and is fond of experimental forms of scholarship.
