Micah Goodrich is Assistant Professor of English and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Boston University. He is a literary historian who works at the intersections of medieval literature, transgender studies, and the history of the body. Micah has published articles on topics including medieval intersex, trans animacy in alchemical literature, species division in debate poetry, and lolling as a temporal schematic in Piers Plowman.Together with James Sargan, Micah is co-editing A Cultural History of Trans Lives in the Middle Ages, c.300-1450 (Bloomsbury).
