To examine the intra-ethnic politics in East Malaysia, my study explores the roles of indigenous leadership institution (Huguon Siou), cultural associations and political parties, and examines how these affect the Kadazandusun electoral politics.

Food safety training modules often neglect the sociological approach. Using Betong as a case study, my study looks at how lifestyles and hygiene of food handlers and students, could affect to the prevalence of food poisoning.

My study looks at the potential of using physical education and sports as a tool to address the issue of child labour in the fishing industry in Ghana. Respondents include children, parents, NGOs, Ministry of Education and Sports, and Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.

My study is about the native court and chieftaincy in Sarawak. Chieftaincy insttution is important in many countries but whether it is still relevant in today's Native court remains a ferocious debate.

My study is about the impacts of the coalition change in the Malaysian Federal Government on political patronage in Sarawak. Among others, this study examines how federal politics change to reconfigure the nature of the interactions between patrons and clients.

My research project’s objective is to determine the willingness to pay for e-waste recycling among residents in Kuching, by looking at their awareness. It analyses how demographic factors determine willingness to pay.

Drawing on anthropological observations, my research uses the concept of social resilience to examine how the community in Upper Bengoh cope and adapt to their displacement. It seeks to demonstrate the development of community strategies at their choice of resettlement.
