2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide the Core Service: Your uploaded photos (Face Data) are used exclusively and solely to generate a gender-swapped AI image in real-time. This is the only function for which your Face Data is processed.
To Improve Customer Service: Your contact information helps us respond to your support requests.
To Improve the App: Anonymous technical and usage data helps us understand how users interact with the App and identify areas for improvement.
3. Face Data: Specific Uses, Sharing, and Retention
We recognize that Face Data is sensitive. We implement the following strict practices to ensure its security and your privacy.
Use of Face Data:
Sole Purpose: Your uploaded photos are used solely for the purpose of generating your AI-transformed image. The AI model processes the image to create a new one; it does not extract or store biometric identifiers or templates (e.g., a facial fingerprint).
No Training Use (Without Consent): We do not use your Face Data to train or improve our AI models unless we obtain your separate, explicit, and opt-in consent for such use.
Sharing of Face Data:
No Sale or Sharing with Third Parties: We do not sell, rent, or share your Face Data with any third parties for their independent marketing or advertising purposes.
Trusted Service Providers: To perform the AI processing, we use secure cloud computing providers (e.g., Tencent Cloud). These providers act as our data processors and are contractually bound to handle your data only on our instructions, with strict confidentiality and security measures. They are not permitted to use your Face Data for any other purpose.
Data Retention:
We adhere to the principle of data minimization. To provide our service, your data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers after the process is complete.
The original photo you upload and the AI-generated result are immediately and automatically deleted from our servers once the generation process is finished and the image is delivered to your app. We do not retain any copies.
The generated image is delivered to your app, and it is your responsibility to save it to your device if you wish to keep it.
4. Data Storage and Security
Processing Location: All data processing, including Face Data, is performed on secure servers located in Singapore.
Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. This includes:
Encryption in Transit: All data transferred between the App and our servers is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology.
Encryption at Rest: All data is processed in volatile memory and is not persistently stored on disk.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may disclose information we collect:
To our trusted service providers who assist in operating the App, as described above.
To comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our users and the public.
In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition.
We do not use your information for cross-app tracking.
