Why Donation (Social Tipping)?

ポッシブル・ワールドに関する活動は、私たちの可能性の探求を、実験をキーワードに進めています。

特に、このお祭りは、いろいろなアイディアの芽、私たちの興味・やってみたいという想いを大切にしながら、イベント主催者や参加者の可能性を育てる社会実験の場という位置づけています。

この実験の一つに、私たちとお金との関りあい方があります。下記に示す思いから、投げ銭を導入しています。

• 参加者が自由に参加費を決められること、

• イベント主催者が自分の想いを形にした活動を続けていけること、

• それぞれの立場や価値観を尊重し合えること、

みなさんがこの実験に参加してくれていることに、深く感謝しています。

The activities related to Possible World are based on the exploration of our possibilities, with experimentation as the keyword.

In particular, the festival is positioned as a place for social experiments that nurture the possibilities of event organisers and participants, while valuing the seeds of various ideas, our curiosity and our desire to try things out.

One of these experiments is our relationship with money. We have adopted the donation (social tipping) system for the festival with the following in mind:

• participants can freely decide their participation fees,

• event organisers can continue their activities to express their own ideas, and

• We can respect each other’s standpoints and values.
