Positive Education recognizes that student wellbeing is the foundation upon which academic engagement and excellence rests.
Using data-driven methods backed by the science of positive psychology, the goal of positive education is to increase wellbeing and cultivate flourishing within the entire school community.

Strengths-based and rooted in Positive Psychology, Positive Education builds on what is strong and helps create the conditions for people to flourish. It engages the whole school community—students, educators, administrators, and leaders—in developing well-being, optimism, creativity, engagement, gratitude, purpose, and the capacity to make meaningful contributions to the world.

Too many students experience learning as something that happens to them rather than something they actively pursue. At the same time, educators are working harder and harder to engage students while navigating increasing demands of their own.
When learning becomes primarily about earning the grade, checking the box, or simply getting through school, we risk losing something far more important: curiosity, ownership, purpose, and the desire to learn.
That is an opportunity lost—for students, educators, and our schools.
