I am a growing and aspiring professional with a heavy interest in training & development. After testing the waters in a few areas, such as social work, non-profit & volunteer management, and fundraising campaigns, I moved to Seoul, South Korea in 2011 to teach ESL. With almost 10 years of teaching experience under my belt, I gained a great appreciation for the vital nature of education and the role it plays in all of our lives. I moved back to the US in the spring of 2021 to pursue a Master's degree in management with a concentration in training & human capital development. I currently work with the National Education Foundation (NEF), which serves to provide online, asynchronous learning content at a highly discounted rate to all, especially those from marginalized and underrepresented populations, to prepare learners for college and their careers.
My goal is to use my teaching experience overseas, knowledge acquired through my graduate studies and my work with the NEF to work in the field of training and development to help learners fulfil their own professional and/or academic needs.
