You play as a journalist looking for the scoop of the year. A mysterious cult gathers every month in a manor on the outskirts of town, and you have finally found a way to slip inside. Using a cult mask you discovered, you can move among them unnoticed.
Stay hidden, evade suspicion, and capture photographic evidence before escaping.
Beware not to get caught…

Sacrificial Masquerade was a video game created during the Global Game Jam, based on the theme “Mask.”
While the main constraint was time (one week), we really enjoyed creating a short experience from a single-word theme. It was highly inspiring, and we spent several hours brainstorming as a team.
Since a game jam is all about experimentation, I took on the role of producer while primarily working as a programmer. It was a real challenge, as I didn’t always know which direction to take. I was supported by my co-programmer, who helped guide decisions and improve the overall implementation.
I am particularly proud of this project for the quality of its immersion and the positive feedback we received from the jury.
