Welcome to PopVid: AI Video Photo Maker ("PopVid," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application on the Apple App Store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using PopVid, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the application.
PopVid utilizes advanced Generative Artificial Intelligence to process photos and videos.
Input Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the "Input" (photos, videos, or text prompts) you provide. You warrant that you have the right to use such content and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
Output Nature: Due to the nature of machine learning, "Output" (AI-generated video/content) may not be unique across different users. We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of the Output.
AI Labeling & Watermarking: In compliance with 2026 digital content regulations, PopVid may automatically embed digital watermarks or "AI-Generated" metadata into Outputs. Circumventing or removing these identifiers is strictly prohibited.
Your Content: You retain ownership of your original Input. You grant PopVid a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and modify your Input solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Generated Works: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we transfer to you all our rights, title, and interest in and to the Output for personal or commercial use (depending on your subscription tier).
PopVid Assets: All UI/UX design, proprietary AI models, filters, templates, and music provided within the app are the property of PopVid and are protected by copyright laws.
Billing: All purchases are processed via your Apple ID account. Prices are subject to change, but we will notify you of any increases.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Apple Support as we do not have access to Apple’s payment systems.
Compute Credits: High-performance AI generation may require "Compute Credits." These credits may expire at the end of a billing cycle as specified in the app.
You agree NOT to use PopVid to:
Deepfake/Non-Consensual Content: Create realistic portrayals of individuals without their express consent.
Illegal Content: Generate imagery involving child exploitation, extreme violence, or hate speech.
Reverse Engineering: Attempt to extract the weights, architecture, or source code of our proprietary AI models.
Misleading Use: Represent AI-generated content as a purely human-captured "real" recording for the purpose of fraud.
Our processing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
On-Device Processing: Where possible, PopVid utilizes Apple’s Neural Engine (NPU) for local processing to enhance privacy.
Cloud Processing: If cloud-based GPUs are required, your data is encrypted during transit and deleted from our servers after the generation task is complete, unless stated otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PopVid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the AI service, including but not limited to "hallucinations" in video output or loss of data.
As AI regulations evolve (including the 2026 AI Act updates), we may modify these Terms or certain app features to remain compliant. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction/e.g., California, USA / Hong Kong SAR], without regard to conflict of law principles.
