Information about the Rest Area with Kids' Space and Nursing/Diaper Changing Space


We will also provide a rest area with a kids' space and facilities for nursing and diaper changing, in addition to the childcare room. These facilities are available for use at any time without prior reservation. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us (popecoloffice.com).

Information about Childcare Room Registration (Closed)

At the conference, based on the recent survey results, we have decided to set up a childcare room at the venue (including the reception venue). Additionally, we have decided that everyone who pre-applied for childcare can also use sick child care in case of sudden illness such as fever.

We have set the usage fees at a considerably low rate, subsidized by the conference organizers, to make it as accessible as possible for everyone. However, our conference finances are tight, so we kindly request those paying with public funds to contribute a slightly higher amount. 

Please note that besides certified childcare professionals, we may also have childcare assistants with experience in family support assisting in the childcare room. Furthermore, families are welcome to attend the reception (children under 7 attend for free). It is also possible to participate in the event with your child without using the childcare room.

Important notice


1.  One form per child. For siblings, please submit multiple forms.

2.  Please apply by email to the person in charge. Contact the Childcare Room Coordinator, Kaori Tsurui, at tsuruik[at]agr.u-ryukyu.ac.jp


3.  After registration, the responsible party will reply to the application email address.


4.  We will conduct a pre-event email meeting (to discuss items to bring, etc.)
prior to the conference day."


5. If you wish to use only the sick child care service in case of sudden illness and not use the childcare room, please submit an application form. Please refer to the application form for instructions on how to fill it out in this case


The Use of Sick Child Care Services


All applicants are eligible to use the sick child care services in the event of sudden fever. However, for the safety of your child, we kindly ask that each individual visit a medical facility before using the sick child care services. (In other words, we recommend bringing your child's health insurance card in case of sudden fever.)


Use During the Reception

For those using the childcare room during the reception on November 16: Please accompany your child to the reception venue. For those using the childcare room until the evening, please pick up your child by 6:30 PM, and we will take care of them again at the reception venue.
