The Poorex Face studio is a turn to nature and craftsmanship after many years of experimental design activity as part of the Poorex studio. The turning point was the construction of a summer house/studio at the Rożnowski Lake, where I created the first series of masks made of the remaining construction wood. This prompted him to purchase a large barn in Królówka near Nowy Wiśnicz, where a carpentry workshop was established to professionalise the sculptural work process. The effects of the activities are also, among others, stools/stumps and other seats and utility forms.
The work in wood, mainly with the use of wooden construction waste. The tools used for this work are both a gasoline saw and a precise chisel. The resulting artifacts are inherently somewhat primitive and straightforward, but therefore honest and authentic.
