Being from Maharastra, India, I completed my undergradute studies in chemical engineeing from Institute of Chemical Technology (UDCT/ICT), Mumbai in 2015. I came to the U.S. right after and completed my M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, followed by a Ph.D. at Rutgers University under the supervision of Professor Marianthi Ierapetritou and Professor Fernando J. Muzzio, focusing on process systems engineering. I completed my Ph.D. in 2022 and started my post-doctoral research at University of Delaware, working on molecular-scale problems, under the guidance of Professor Dionisios Vlachos.
My research interests include multiscale modeling, process systems engineering, modeling, process optimization, solvent-based extractions, molecular-level decision making, solvent selection, recycling.
