SANCA AR respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the SANCA AR mobile application (“SANCA AR”, “the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use the application.

SANCA AR is an augmented reality cultural application that allows users to explore approximately 120 murals located in the region of San Carlos, Antioquia, Colombia. The App provides information about each artwork, its artist, and related cultural content, and may provide links to the website Sanca.art for additional information.

1. Personal Information

SANCA AR does not collect, store, sell, share, or process personal information from users.

The App does not require users to create an account, sign in, provide their name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

SANCA AR does not use user profiles or behavioral tracking.

2. Camera Access

SANCA AR requires access to the device's camera in order to provide its augmented reality functionality.

Camera access is used exclusively to:

• detect physical surfaces and the surrounding environment;

• position augmented reality content in the user's environment;

• display virtual representations of murals and related content.

SANCA AR does not record, store, upload, transmit, or share camera images or video.

Camera information is used only as necessary to provide the augmented reality experience on the user's device.

Users may revoke camera permission at any time through their device's system settings. However, doing so will prevent the augmented reality features of the App from functioning correctly.

3. Location Information

SANCA AR does not collect, store, or track the user's geographic location.

The App does not require GPS or precise location information in order to provide its primary functionality.

References to San Carlos, Antioquia, Colombia, and other geographic locations within the App are informational content related to the murals and cultural works presented by the application.

4. User Accounts

SANCA AR does not require or provide user accounts.

Users do not need to register, sign in, or provide personal information to access the App.

Because SANCA AR does not create or maintain user accounts, there is no account information to delete.

5. Analytics and Advertising

SANCA AR does not display third-party advertising.

SANCA AR does not use personal information for advertising, profiling, targeted marketing, or behavioral tracking.

SANCA AR does not intentionally use analytics services to create profiles of individual users.

6. Purchases and Payments

SANCA AR does not currently offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or payment processing.

The App does not collect or process payment information.

7. External Links

SANCA AR may contain links to external websites, including Sanca.art, where users can find additional information about murals, artists, cultural initiatives, or related content.

When a user follows an external link, they leave the SANCA AR application.

External websites operate independently from SANCA AR and may have their own privacy policies, terms of use, cookies, analytics systems, or data-processing practices.

SANCA AR is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of external websites they visit.

8. Third-Party Platform Services

SANCA AR is built using third-party technologies that support the operation of the application and its augmented reality functionality, including technologies provided by platform and technology providers such as Android, Google Play services, ARCore, and the Unreal Engine ecosystem.

SANCA AR itself does not use these technologies for advertising or to create user profiles.

However, operating-system providers, application stores, device manufacturers, or third-party technology providers may independently process technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Such processing is controlled by those third parties and is not performed directly by SANCA AR.

9. Device Permissions

SANCA AR may request device permissions that are technically necessary for its functionality.

The primary permission required by the App is:

Camera permission — required to provide augmented reality functionality.

SANCA AR does not use device permissions to collect personal information unrelated to the operation of the App.

Users can manage application permissions through their Android device settings.

10. Data Storage

Because SANCA AR does not collect personal user information, we do not maintain databases containing personal information about App users.

Content required by the application, such as mural information, artwork information, artist information, images, textures, three-dimensional models, and related digital assets, is application content and does not represent information collected from users.

11. Data Sharing

SANCA AR does not sell personal information.

SANCA AR does not share personal user information with advertisers, data brokers, marketing companies, or other third parties.

Because SANCA AR does not intentionally collect personal information, there is no personal user information maintained by SANCA AR for commercial sharing or sale.

12. Children's Privacy

SANCA AR is a cultural and educational augmented reality application.

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.

Because no user registration, personal profile, behavioral advertising, or personal-data collection is required, SANCA AR does not intentionally process personal information belonging to children.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected unintentionally, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

13. Security

SANCA AR is designed to minimize privacy risks by avoiding the collection and storage of personal information.

Because the App does not maintain personal user accounts or databases containing personal user information, the amount of user information exposed to potential unauthorized access is minimized.

We nevertheless take reasonable technical measures to maintain the integrity and security of the App.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if SANCA AR's functionality changes, if new services are introduced, or if applicable legal or platform requirements change.

Any updated version of this Privacy Policy will be published with a revised Effective Date.

If future versions of SANCA AR introduce functionality that involves the collection or processing of personal information, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
