The editorial staff of the “Polish Studies of Kyiv ” adheres to the principles of the Editorial Publishing Ethics, formulated by the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), the details of which can be found here.
- Independently prepared and previously unpublished materials representing the results of scientific research in the field of polonistic literature and linguistics, cultural studies, comparative studies and other related industries are accepted for printing.
- Materials should directly or indirectly relate to the subject of the collection. In exceptional cases, materials that do not fall under the theme of the collection, but have received excellent evaluations by reviewers and are of scientific value, can be published in the Varia heading.
- The materials proposed by the author for publication must comply with the principles of scientific ethics and contain accurate and verified data.
- Offering material for publication, the Author agrees to maintain a dialogue with the Editorial Board and promptly responds to the wishes, comments and requests of the representative (s) of the Editorial Board and reviewers.
- Materials are accepted for printing in Russian, English and Polish, designed according to the relevant Requirements.
- All materials submitted for publication in the “Polish Studies of Kyiv ” undergo an open review procedure involving experts in the field to which the article relates. The review is carried out according to the standard form, in which the article is evaluated by a number of parameters, if necessary, comments are added on some of these parameters.
- All materials are tested for anti-plagiarism. The uniqueness of the text should be at least 70%; within 30%, the text may contain quotes and auto-quotes, the indication of the source is necessary.
- After accepting the article for printing, the Author signs the Consent to the processing of personal data and the Consent to the use of the object of copyright.
- The final decision on acceptance of materials for printing is made by the Editorial Board.
