Policy for the People (PftP) is a graduate student organization at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy. We aim to provide an inclusive environment for Sanford students to dive into leftist ideology, bring progressive voices and events to Sanford, challenge the status quo within the Sanford curriculum, and push for progressive policies outside of the classroom.

Sanford Coalition Against Racial Injustice: The Sanford Coalition Against Racial Injustice was born out of the push to hold Sanford to its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments. This group stems from work done from alumni, faculty, and staff over several years. The coalition is backed by Policy for the People, Sanford Pride, and Policy in Living Color. SCARI members are currently active in accompanying Sanford's internal audit process.
