Effective date: September 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dmitrii Iakovenko, providing Armenian Everyday under the Cyber Sparrow Games name (“Cyber Sparrow Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), processes information when you use the Armenian Everyday mobile application (the “App”).
Cyber Sparrow Games is the controller of information processed for product insights, support, and purchase-verification purposes. Apple, Google, and operators of external websites may separately act as independent controllers for their own services.
This Policy applies to the Android, iOS, and iPadOS versions of the App when available.
No Armenian Everyday account or registration is required.
There is no account-based cloud synchronisation of lesson progress. Learning progress and preferences are primarily stored locally on your device.
On production iOS and iPadOS App Store installations, the App may use Google Analytics for Firebase for first-party product insights. Product Insights is enabled by default in that production environment and can be turned off at any time in Settings.
Firebase Analytics is disabled in Xcode, TestFlight, StoreKit Sandbox, and other non-production iOS environments. On Android, analytics remains disabled until enabled through Settings.
The App does not display third-party advertising, use App Tracking Transparency, use the advertising identifier (IDFA), track you across apps or websites, sell personal information, or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
The App does not use the microphone, record voice, access speech recognition, access the camera, or collect photos. It may play locally bundled educational speech clips.
The App does not request precise GPS location, contacts, or files, and it does not include runtime generative AI or send learning activity to an AI provider.
Optional practice reminders are scheduled locally on the device and do not use remote push messaging.
The App stores the following information locally so its features can operate:
interface language, selected starting level, learning goal, pronunciation-hint preference, and onboarding completion;
weekly lesson plans and associated dates;
completed lessons, lesson history, scores, answer correctness, and incomplete or suspended lesson sessions;
words and phrases you have studied or saved; review dates, mastery values, mistake counts, alphabet practice progress, and short-study activity and statistics; and
a local cache of product status, product or plan, price, currency, and last verification time.
Some learning goals, such as Armenian heritage or having Armenian-speaking family, could reveal information about your interests or background. These onboarding answers are stored locally and are not included in the App’s current Firebase custom analytics events.
theme and larger-text preference;
animated-background preference;
music, educational-speech, and sound-effect settings;
haptic-feedback preference;
weekly study target, reminder status, selected reminder days, and local time; and
the Product Insights setting.
These files are stored in the App’s operating-system sandbox. The App does not add separate application-level encryption to its learning and presentation JSON files. Protection therefore depends primarily on your device security, operating-system sandbox, encryption, passcode, and backup settings.
The App maintains local rolling backup files to recover from an interrupted or corrupted save. The in-App Reset progress control resets most active learning history, but it may preserve interface language, completed onboarding, selected starting level and learning goal, pronunciation-hint preference, presentation, music, speech, sound, haptic, and reminder settings, the Product Insights setting, product entitlement information, and a rolling backup of an earlier learning save until that backup is replaced through subsequent use.
Deleting the App or clearing its storage normally removes data stored in its local sandbox. Your operating system or Apple/Google backup service may retain or later restore a backup according to your device and account settings. For the most complete device-side deletion, remove the App and, where applicable, remove its saved backup from your operating-system or cloud-backup settings. Deleting local data or uninstalling the App does not cancel an active subscription.
On supported devices, you may choose to enable practice reminders. The App processes the selected days, local time, language, and notification-permission status on the device to schedule notifications. These reminders are generated locally and do not require a Cyber Sparrow Games server or remote push-notification token.
You may refuse notification permission or disable reminders at any time without losing access to lessons or paid content. Your operating-system provider independently manages notification permissions and delivery.
In App versions that include Firebase Analytics, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google LLC, to understand feature usage and improve usability and reliability.
On a production iOS or iPadOS App Store installation, Product Insights is enabled by default. The App blocks Firebase Analytics in Xcode, TestFlight, StoreKit Sandbox, and other non-production iOS environments. On Android, Firebase Analytics remains disabled until enabled through Settings. You can turn Product Insights off at any time in the App’s Settings. Turning it off does not remove free or paid functionality.
When Product Insights is enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase may process:
a randomly generated app-instance or installation identifier and, where the SDK uses it, an identifier for vendor (IDFV);
App package or bundle identifier, App version, Firebase SDK version, and installation source where available;
device manufacturer, model, brand, form factor, operating-system version, device language, locale, and general regional settings;
first launch, App open, session, foreground, update, session duration, and basic engagement information;
network and device metadata made available to the SDK; and
approximate country or region derived from the network connection.
Google receives an IP address while transmitting and processing analytics information and may use it for security and approximate geographic derivation. We do not receive a precise GPS location through Firebase Analytics. The App does not assign a Cyber Sparrow Games user ID and does not associate Firebase events with an Armenian Everyday account, because no such account exists.
Current custom analytics events are categorical event names. They may indicate that an action occurred, such as starting or completing onboarding; viewing Home, Learn, Topic, Culture, Week, or Premium screens; adding, removing, moving, or saving a weekly topic; starting, answering, or completing a lesson; reaching the free daily limit; starting or completing word, mistake, quick-study, or alphabet review; viewing the Premium paywall or selecting a plan; and starting or completing purchase, restoration, or paid-status flows.
The current App does not add user-entered text or raw lesson content to these custom events. In particular, custom events do not include raw Armenian words, phrases, questions, translations, answer text, dictionary-search text, your name or email address, your onboarding learning goal, lesson-session identifiers, purchase receipts or purchase tokens, transaction identifiers, full payment-card or bank details, microphone or voice recordings, or precise GPS location.
Firebase Analytics may automatically receive limited purchase or subscription events when supported by the platform and SDK. These can include product identifier, product name, price or transaction value, currency, quantity, subscription status, introductory-offer or trial status, and conversion or renewal information. We do not receive your full payment-card number, bank-account credentials, Apple Account password, or Google Account password.
The App does not contain advertisements. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalisation are denied. On iOS and iPadOS, the App excludes AdSupport and does not request or use App Tracking Transparency. Analytics is not used for cross-app advertising tracking, behavioural advertising, or targeted advertising. If a future version introduces activity that legally constitutes tracking, we will update this Policy and obtain any required permission before introducing that activity.
You can change the setting in the App at Home → Settings → About → Product Insights. Turning Product Insights off stops future App-owned analytics event delivery, disables Firebase Analytics collection, and resets locally stored analytics data and the SDK analytics identifier when Analytics has been initialized. Turning it off does not automatically delete information already transmitted to Google or included in aggregated reports.
Because the App has no account and uses a pseudonymous installation identifier, it may be difficult or impossible to associate an existing Analytics record with a particular person. You may nevertheless contact us, and we will use available deletion tools where technically possible and required by law.
Depending on your device and privacy settings, Apple or Google may collect crash, stability, performance, and store-delivery information and make diagnostic or aggregated reports available to developers through services such as Android Vitals or App Store Connect. Such reports may include App and operating-system version, device model or category, crash or error time, stack trace and technical state, and aggregated stability or performance measurements.
The App does not currently integrate Firebase Crashlytics as a separate crash-reporting service. Apple and Google control their respective platform diagnostic systems and retention practices under their own policies: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
When paid products are enabled, payments are processed by Apple or Google through their respective store systems. The App may receive limited information required to display products and localised prices, initiate a purchase, determine whether access is active, verify a receipt or purchase token, confirm a Google Play purchase, restore purchases, and show subscription-management options.
This information may include a product identifier, plan identifier, transaction identifier, purchase receipt or token, subscription status, renewal or expiration information, localised price, and currency. This applies to subscriptions, a one-time core-access purchase where offered, individual advanced courses, and an advanced-course bundle where offered. Where server-side verification is used, the purchase receipt or token and related identifiers may be transmitted over an encrypted connection to a verification service operated by us or acting on our instructions. Learning progress, words, answers, and onboarding information are not sent as part of purchase verification.
Apple and Google independently maintain transaction information associated with your store account: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address, the name displayed by your email service, the contents of your message, attachments you choose to send, and technical or purchase information you voluntarily include. We use this information to respond, provide support, investigate technical problems, address privacy requests, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details, purchase tokens, authentication codes, or unnecessary sensitive information.
The App may open websites operated by Apple, Google, cultural institutions, museums, public authorities, tourism organisations, or other third parties. When you open an external website, its operator may receive normal web-request information such as your IP address, browser information, and page request. Those practices are governed by the third party’s own policy. Cyber Sparrow Games does not control third-party websites.
The current App does not create Armenian Everyday user accounts; upload or synchronise learning progress to a Cyber Sparrow Games cloud account; request microphone access or record speech; use speech recognition; access the camera or photo library; request precise location; collect contacts; offer public profiles, chat, comments, or user-generated content; display third-party advertising; use advertising identifiers for personalised advertising; or send user data to a runtime generative-AI service.
If a future version introduces any of these features, we will update this Policy and provide any required notice, permission request, or consent before the new processing begins.
Where applicable, we process information for the following purposes and legal bases:
Providing the App and paid content: to provide requested functionality, verify purchases, restore access, and perform our agreement with you.
Product Insights: to understand feature usage and improve usability and reliability, based on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App where that basis is available under applicable law.
Support: to respond to your request and for our legitimate interest in maintaining and supporting the App.
Security and fraud prevention: for our legitimate interest in protecting the App, users, purchases, and services.
Legal compliance: where processing is necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where a different legal basis is required by applicable law, we will use that basis. The Product Insights control remains available in Settings.
We may disclose limited information to the following recipients where necessary:
Google provides Firebase Analytics, Google Play distribution, Google Play Billing, subscription management, and related platform services. See Firebase Privacy and Security, Firebase data-disclosure information, Google Analytics safeguards, and Google Privacy Policy.
Apple provides App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, subscription management, refunds, platform diagnostics, and payment processing. See the Apple Privacy Policy.
When production server-side purchase verification is enabled, a hosting or verification provider may process purchase tokens, product and transaction identifiers, technical request information, and verification results on our instructions. Before enabling a new third-party provider, we assess its data practices and update this Policy where the provider or processing materially changes the disclosures.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process; protect users, the public, or our legal rights; investigate fraud or security incidents; or complete a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or transfer of the App, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards. We do not sell or rent personal information or disclose it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Local learning data: retained on your device until reset, overwritten through use, cleared through device controls, or removed with the App, subject to local rolling backups and operating-system backups described above.
Product Insights setting: retained locally until changed, cleared, or removed with App storage.
Firebase Analytics user-level and event-level data: retained under our Google Analytics property settings for up to 14 months. Aggregated standard reports that do not directly identify an individual installation may remain available longer.
Purchase verification information: retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to verify and maintain access, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Support communications: generally retained for up to 24 months after the request is resolved, unless longer retention is reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Google, Apple, and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on the recipient’s applicable contractual safeguards, data-processing terms, approved transfer mechanisms, or other lawful measures. Firebase may process information on global infrastructure. More information is available in Firebase Privacy and Security.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information. Firebase and purchase-verification communications use encrypted network connections. Local data is stored in the App’s operating-system sandbox, but the App does not add separate encryption to its local JSON save files. You can improve local security by using a device passcode, enabling device encryption, keeping the operating system updated, and protecting access to your Apple or Google account. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have rights to receive information about processing; access personal information; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; receive data portability information; and complain to a supervisory authority. To make a request, contact cybersparrowgames@gmail.com. We may need reasonable information to verify the request and determine what information we can identify and act upon.
Residents of Armenia may also contact the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of Armenia. EEA residents may find their supervisory authority through the European Data Protection Board. UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. If applicable California privacy law grants you additional rights, these may include rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and exercise rights without unlawful discrimination. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The App does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects through automated profiling.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not create Armenian Everyday accounts or knowingly collect names, email addresses, precise location, voice recordings, or user-entered lesson text through the App from children. Product Insights is described in Section 5. If you believe that a child’s information was transmitted without appropriate authorisation, contact cybersparrowgames@gmail.com. We will review the request and take appropriate deletion or restriction measures where technically possible and required by law.
If the App is later marketed to children or included in a children-specific store category, we will review the applicable parental-consent, age-screening, SDK, and store requirements before doing so.
Armenian Everyday does not create an App account, including an automatically generated guest account. There is therefore no Armenian Everyday account to delete. Deleting local App data does not delete your Apple Account or Google Account. Requests concerning those accounts must be made to Apple or Google. Uninstalling the App or deleting local data also does not cancel an active subscription.
We may update this Policy when the App, its providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted at the Armenian Everyday Privacy Policy URL with an updated effective date. If a change materially affects Product Insights or another consent-based activity, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required by law.
