EQUIPMENT
Competitors must use the equipment provided – i.e. starting blocks, relay batons, shot put, and discus.
SPIKES
The Championship is conducted on a synthetic track. The maximum spike length is 7mm in length for track & long jump events and 9mm in the high jump. Spikes will not be permitted in the 800 or 1500-metre events.
STARTING
Use of starting blocks is optional for 100m, 200m & relays only. Only starting blocks supplied by the Hunter Sports Centre Glendale are permitted to be used.
Students using spikes can do a crouch, standing or block start.
Competitors must occupy the lane allocated.
Age Division:
Age is according to year of birth (i.e. age as at 31st December 2024).
A competitor is eligible for that age event only and may not compete in any other age group.
No competitor may enter both Junior & Senior events, nor 2 age groups, including relays.
