Parking

There will be no parking available in the direct precinct of Hunter Sports Centre for your event. We strongly suggest that you plan your trip to Hunter Sports Centre well in advance. 

Where possible to limit the number of cars that are accessing the Centre we recommend:

• Spectators should consider public transport.

• Carpooling is encouraged.

WHERE PARKING IS AVAILABLE

The recommended parking location is BEHIND Kmart and it is only a short walk to HSC. If this precinct is full, spaces are available elsewhere in the shopping centre – with the exception of the Kmart precinct and AMART. Refer to map below for preferred parking.

There is no disability parking close to HSC. We recommend using the bus bays for drop off and pick up only.

Where parking is not permitted

The shopping precinct on the Hunter Sports Centre side of the road (AMART) is privately owned and sign posted as NO HUNTER SPORTS CENTRE PARKING. The area is under licence plate camera monitoring and parking fines are issued by the owner. The facility also has boom gates that are locked outside of operating hours.

Car Parking in the Kmart precinct is also NOT available to Hunter Sports Centre participants.

Shopping centre security will be present to redirect carnival participants away from the Kmart precinct and directional signage will be in place to assist drivers to the recommended parking spaces.
