Your privacy is a core feature of PoGo Raid Pal. Our philosophy is to collect the absolute minimum data necessary to make the App function, and to store sensitive information locally on your device, not on our servers.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following personal data to our servers:
Your Friend Code
Your In-Game-Name
Your Custom Pokémon Names
Your list of Favorite or Recent Pokémon
Your GPS location
We collect two types of data: "Local Data" (stored only on your device) and "App Data" (which may be sent to us).
A. Local Data (Stored on Your Device)
This information is entered by you and stays on your device. We cannot see it or access it. You have full control to edit or delete it at any time from the Profile screen.
Friend Code & In-Game-Name: Used by you to populate your "Quick Host" post templates.
Custom Pokémon Names: Used to populate your "Merged Pokémon Database" for filtering and hosting.
Favorites & Recents Lists: Used to personalize your "Pokémon Selection" screen for faster use.
has_onboarded Flag: A simple local flag to know whether to show you the tutorial.
B. App Data (Potentially Shared)
This is a minimal amount of anonymous data used for app functionality.
Transaction Data: If you purchase "PoGo Raid Pal Pro," all billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. They provide us with an anonymous token to verify your subscription status, but we do not receive your name, address, or payment details.
Anonymous Analytics: We may collect anonymous analytics (like crash logs or feature usage statistics) to help us identify bugs and improve the App. This data is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify you.
Reddit: The "Quick Host" feature prepares a post and hands it off to the official Reddit app on your device. At that point, you are in control. No data is sent to Reddit until you manually tap "Post." Once you post, your content (including your Friend Code) is public and subject to Reddit's Privacy Policy.
Aggregated Content: The Raid Feed is populated with data from public sources (like the Reddit API). We do not send any of your personal data to these services when we fetch the feed.
Since your personal data is stored locally, you are in complete control. You can delete your Friend Code, In-Game-Name, custom templates, and custom Pokémon from the Profile screen at any time.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. We recommend you review this policy periodically.
