• Challenge Pokémon Trainer Kane to a battle (Rival Battle 1)

Head to the Blumenschmidt Market

• Deliver the Rock Incense to Jack

• Obtain the Flash Module at Shimmer Lighthouse (recommended)

Head to Chrysler City via Route 2

• Battle and defeat Trainers in Route 2

Head to the Pokémon Biotechnology Laboratory

• Obtain a new Pokédex from Prof. Larix and Pia

Exit the Laboratory

• Bump into a Nurse, obtain the Lunch Bag

Head to the Pokémon Trainers' School

• Go upstairs to Class 2-A

• Deliver the Lunch Bag to Preschooler Lucy

• Battle Teacher Clarissa and Principal Edward in a Double Battle

Head to Crystalline Cave via Route 3

• Battle and defeat Trainers in Route 3

Enter the cave and join the Preschoolers' field trip

Head to the basement levels of the cave in search of the missing kids

• Find Kane in B2F

Enter B1.5F and discover Crimson Society Grunts

• Team up with Kane and defeat the Grunts

• Rescue the kids at the end of the chamber

Meet up with Rochelle upon exiting the cave

Head to the Arethusa Town Gym

• Rochelle will offer to Fly you to Arethusa Town outside the Trainers' School (optional)

Challenge Rochelle at the Arethusa Town Gym

Return home to obtain Aprishakes from Grandpa

Head to Dortmund City via Crystalline Cave and Route 4

• Battle and defeat Trainers in Route 1 and Route 4

Meet Elite Four Gen and Champion Valerie outside the Dortmund City Gym

Head to the Power Plant at Route 4 in search of a missing Shinx

• Valerie and Gen join the party

• Team up with Valerie and Gen to defeat Trainers along the way

• Head to L4 and fend off a Luxio to rescue the Shinx

Return to Dortmund City and head to Ristorante Calamanero 

Challenge Haku at the Dortmund City Gym

• Obtain the Cut Module

Head to Grimmetts City via Route 5

• Battle and defeat Trainers in Route 5

• Chase Roselia down Route 5 all the way to Grimmetts City

• Valerie and Gen leave the party upon reaching Grimmetts City

Head to The Daily Grind café and stumble into Crimson Society Grunts

• Get kidnapped to the Crimson Society Base

• Defeat the Grunts and escape from the Base

Immediately after escaping, challenge Rival Kane to a battle (Rival Battle 2)

• Join back up with Valerie and Gen at the Pokémon Center after the battle

• Kane joins the party as well

Complete the following two tasks in any order:

• Challenge Terri at the Grimmetts City Gym

• Return to The Daily Grind to search for clues on Crimson Society

Attend the Dance Showcase

• Obtain the Rock Smash Module

Head to Hermosa Town via Route 6 and Mt. Hermosa

• Battle and defeat Trainers in Route 6 and Mt. Hermosa

• Have a campfire with Valerie, Gen and Kane at Mt. Hermosa (optional)

Upon reaching Hermosa Town, find Gym Leader Jian at Hermosa Temple

• Follow Jian to the Temple's main altar

Challenge Jian at the Hermosa Town Gym

• Obtain the Fly Module

Return to a Crimson Society-infested Hermosa Temple

• Team up with Valerie, Gen and Kane to defeat the Grunts

• Challenge Crimson Admin "N" at the main altar

Visit Jian at his house

• Obtain a Pokémon Egg upon returning to the Hermosa Gym
