What are the library's hours of operation?
Our library is open from Monday through Thursday from 9 AM - 6 PM, with Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM, to serve our community members. Please check our current schedule and our social media pages for closures.
How can I get a library card?
You can get a free library card by visiting the library with a valid ID and proof of residence (piece of mail). Membership is open to all tribal members and residents.
Do you offer library cards specifically for children?
Yes, we offer library cards for children. A parent or guardian can help the child register, and the card allows children to borrow materials suitable for their age.
Can children check out materials?
Absolutely! Children can check out books, stories, and other materials except movies. Unless given written permission from guardian, children can not check out movies. We encourage families to participate in library activities and borrowing.
What materials can I borrow?
We offer books, DVDs, playaways, and audiobooks.
How many items can I borrow at once?
Members can borrow up to multiple items at a time, including books and multimedia. Please ask staff for specific limits.
How long can I keep borrowed items?
Standard loan periods are 14 days/weeks. Items can often be renewed if they are not reserved by others.
DVD/Blu-Rays: 7 Days
Museum Passes: 7 Days, once a month
How do I return borrowed items?
Items can be returned during open hours or placed in the outside drop box for after-hours returns.
Are there late fees?
We aim to keep borrowing free to encourage community access. However, late returns may delay others, so please return or renew items on time.
Can I reserve or hold items?
Yes, you can reserve items that are currently checked out. We will notify you when your reserved items are ready for pickup.
