Venue
The event will be held at the Accademia Pontaniana, Via Mezzocannone 8, 80134 Napoli. The location is at walking distance from any other place downtown. It is also at walking distance from the following metro stations:
Metro 1: Università
Metro 2: Montesanto
From the hall of the building there will be arrows indicating the route:
take the stairs in front of you and go to the second floor, turn left and go straight on, after some new stairs the main entrance of the Accademia is in front of you; alternatively,
take the elevator at the left-end of the corridor beyond the stairs and go to the second floor, once outside the elevator, turn right and the main entrance of the Accademia is in front of you.
N.B.: ring the intercom if the door is closed and wait for the click; now the door is open!
Please notice that the Accademia opens at 09.00 and closes at 18.00. We kindly ask you not to stay inside after 17.45.

We have received complaints about a growing number of fraudulent websites/agencies masquerading as the Secretariat and offering registration, hotel bookings and other arrangements for the upcoming School.
Housing
There is no list of recommended hotels. Some little advices about accommodation in Napoli follow.
We recommend staying downtown. It's safe there as in any other big city. Hotel downtown in Napoli might be expensive, so we suggest looking for a b&b or an airbnb.
If you want to stay in a "quieter", residential place, consider the Vomero area. From Vomero you can go downtown and to the conference venue by cablecar or metro. If you opt for staying there, be sure to find a place not too far from P.zza Vanvitelli, from where you can easily access both the metro and the cablecar(s).
Another option is staying in the neighborhood of a metro stop, and then reach the conference location by metro. For instance, the sorroundings of the metro 2 stop Amedeo. Other suitable places, with nearby metro stops, where to stay are
Notice that public transportation stops working early in the evening though (around 22.00).
City Trasport
You can reach the conference venue by either Metro 1 (stop: Università) or Metro 2 (stop: Montesanto).
Be aware that the public transportations stop working early in the evening (around 22.00, or a little later for the metros). This includes buses, trams, metros and the cablecars. Taxis, of course, do work overnight. Consider also using the available e-bike or scooter rental services:
Social Events
On Monday July 1, at lunch time, we are planning a welcome buffet. From Tuesday July 2 to Friday July 5 participants can enjoy a light lunch offered by the organizers. All the caterings are included in the registration and will take place in the Accademia.
