Jesus sees you. Jesus cares. Jesus still heals.
Maybe the pain you are carrying is visible to everyone.
Or maybe nobody knows about it.
It may be sickness in your body, pain in your heart, grief, fear, disappointment, emotional wounds, or something within you that has become difficult to explain.
Whatever brought you here, we want to introduce you to Jesus — the One who repeatedly stopped for hurting people.
There was a woman in the Bible who had been bleeding for twelve years.
She had suffered for a long time and had spent everything she had seeking help, yet instead of getting better, her condition became worse.
Imagine twelve years of living with the same problem.
Twelve years of hoping something would change.
Twelve years of disappointment.
Then she heard about Jesus.
She came through the crowd believing that if she could just touch His clothes, she would be healed.
She touched Him, and her bleeding stopped.
But something beautiful happened next.
Jesus stopped.
There was a crowd around Him, yet He noticed one hurting person.
He didn't allow her to disappear anonymously back into the crowd after receiving her healing. He spoke to her personally and told her that her faith had made her well.
You can read her story in Mark 5:25–34.
Perhaps you have also been dealing with something for a long time.
Your situation may have lasted a long time, but it has not made you invisible to God.
Based on Mark 5:25–34. Video produced by The Chosen
Jairus was facing something no parent wanted to face.
His young daughter was dying.
There were things Jairus could do, but there was one thing he could not do: he could not make his daughter well.
So he went looking for Jesus.
While Jesus was on His way to Jairus's home, devastating news arrived:
“Your daughter is dead.” — Mark 5:35 (NIV)
Everything seemed to have reached its end.
But Jesus said to Jairus:
“Don’t be afraid; just believe.” — Mark 5:36 (NIV)
Jesus continued to the house, went to the girl and restored her to life.
Perhaps that is where this story connects with you.
Maybe you're sick.
Maybe someone you love is sick.
Maybe you've received news that has frightened you.
Maybe the hurt you're carrying isn't physical at all. Something has happened in your family, relationship, work or personal life, and you simply don't know how to fix it.
You may have tried everything you know to do.
Or perhaps you have never thought about asking God for help at all.
Maybe you don't consider yourself religious.
Maybe you're not sure you believe in God.
Maybe you've never prayed before.
That's okay. You don't need to pretend.
But if what you're facing has brought you to a place where you're asking,
“Is there anyone who can help me?”
we want you to consider Jesus.
Jairus had a problem greater than his own ability, and he brought that problem to Jesus.
What if you did the same?
You don't have to understand Christianity before you can call out to God.
You don't need to know how to pray properly.
And you don't have to manufacture certainty that you don't currently have.
You can begin honestly.
Jesus, I need Your help. This is what I am going through...”
Then tell Him.
Tell Him about the sickness.
Tell Him about the diagnosis.
Tell Him about the person you're worried about.
Tell Him about the pain nobody else knows about.
Tell Him what you're afraid of.
The Jesus Jairus encountered cared about hurting people.
He listened.
He went with him.
He responded to his need.
And He demonstrated power beyond what Jairus himself could do.
Perhaps you have tried many things already.
Have you brought what you're facing to Jesus?
And if you don't know how to do that, you don't have to do it alone.
You can simply tell us what you're going through.
We will pray with you and bring your situation before God together.
And while you're asking Jesus for help, we would also love you to discover who this Jesus is.
Perhaps you came here because you needed help. But Jesus offers more than what He can do for you — He invites you to know Him.
Discover who Jesus is, why He came and what it means to have a relationship with God.
