Dr Rita Malhotra is a mathematician, poet, essayist, poetry critic and translator. Founder President, Poetry Across Cultures India , World Poetry Ambassador to India appointed by World Poetry, Canada and academic advisor Soka Ikeda College, Chennai, Dr. Malhotra has been Principal & Professor of Mathematics, Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. A PhD from the same university, she has been a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Mathematics at University of Paris. Her research papers in Mathematics are widely published in India and abroad. Her algorithm on Bi-criteria Network Problem is included in the Bibliography of Algorithm / Software in Zentralblatt for Mathematik Hardenbergstrabe, Berlin. Dr. Malhotra has authored 14 books including two books of Mathematics. Her national and international recognitions include The National Scholarship for Post Graduate studies by The Ministry of Education Govt. of India, The National Science Talent Scholarship, the 2020 Women Achiever's award, the 2019 Honor by The World Congress of Poets, Distinguished Visionary Poet Award by WIN Canada, The World Poetry Almanac Award by WPA , Mongolia, The World Poetry International Festival Award by World Poetry Canada, The Best Promoter Award of Indo-Romanian Relations in the Field of Culture awarded by The Embassy of Romania in India, The Michael Madhusudan Millennium award for poetry and education, Award for outstanding merit in promoting Romanian and Universal values in international relations by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Romania, Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in World Poetry by The International Poets Academy, India.
Dr. Malhotra’s literary and poetic works are globally published and have been translated into 13 languages including Hebrew, Romanian, Serbian & Japanese besides others.
Dr. Hadaa Sendoo is an award-winning Mongolian poet, translator and founder of the World Poetry Almanac established in 2006. He is currently a consulting editor of the International Literary Quarterly and a university professor of literature at Ulaanbaatar. His research area is Mongolian folk literature, including folk songs, and Mongolian mythology. Dr, Hadaa’s awards, include the prestigious Mongolian Writers' Union Prize, Medal of Honour for literary achievement in Mongolia , Greece , Canada and USA. He has been an invited delegate at International Poetry festivals in Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America. His collection of poetry titled “Come Back to Earth” has been declared the Best Book of Poetry by the International Writers Association. He has published over 10 collections of poems some of which have been translated into Greek, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Hebrew, Russian, Georgian, Turkish, Lithuanian and Persian. On September 24, 2011, Hadaa joined the World Poetry Movement.
Dr. Rumki Basu is a professor in the Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia. Her poems have been published in the Indian Literature, Journal of the Poetry Society, The Indian PEN, Women’s Era, Poet’s International, The Little Magazine, Poetry Today and, American Poetry Anthology. She has published two books of poems-An Ode to memory in 1997 and Native Birds in Alien Skies in 2004. She organised the bi-annual Public Reading series titled- Navarasa and other Seasonal readings under the banner of the Poetry Society of India. Polychrome Sentiments: Poetry is still possible, is her third and recently-launched book of poems. She has translated eminent Bengali poets to English.
Mr. Ashok Bhargav is a Canada based poet and heads the Writer's International Network. He has several poetry collections to his credit besides being an award winning poet. An economist by profession, his published collections of poetry have received wide acclaim. He was honoured as Poet Laureate in the Philippines in the year 2013. His poems have been translated into Korean and other languages.
Dr. Kunal Malhotra is a Chicago based Data Scientist and a connoisseur of music and poetry. He is a percussion enthusiast and was a key member of the Indian band 'Antidote' during his engineering studies. He obtained his Ph.D in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. He has several research publications in USA and abroad. He is currently the web architect of the PAC website.
Dr. Ritambhara Malaviya obtained her Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is presently Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. Her area of specialization is International Relations. As a poet and a writer she has been associated with the literary magazine ‘Nishaan’, published in Hindi from Kolkata. She has also been a radio artist at the All India Radio, Allahabad, and was invited for poetry recitals and talks at the programme for the youth called ‘Yuv Vani’. She is the Faculty Convener of ‘Expressions’, the English creative writing society of Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. She is engaged in encouraging budding poets and writers at the college by providing them literary platforms from time to time some of which are under the aegis of PAC.
Dr. Robert Mizo holds a PhD from the University of Delhi. He has presented papers in several international conferences on climate change and social issues at Colombo, Sri Lanka; Meghalaya, India; University of Konstanz, Germany; Colorado Springs, USA; Bonn, Germany. Dr. Robert Mizo also participated in a certificate course in “Dealing with Climate Change Impacts” from the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, Potsdam, Germany in 2016. He has published several chapters in books and papers in journals including World Focus and India Quarterly. Robert is an ardent lover of poetry and the arts. He has published a collection of poems titled Four Shades. He currently teaches Political Science at the Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi and is an executive faculty member of 'Expressions'.
Apranta is a major in Psychology from the University of Delhi and a budding poet. She has been in the organizing committee of poetry across cultures during 2009 - 2012. She currently heads the student wing of PAC.
Diya is a student of Political Science honors at Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. She has taken a keen interest in the art of composing poems and creatively expressing herself. She has been writing a blog on WordPress named Foot Step Stories.
Pallavi Malhotra is a chemical engineer by qualification and is now a free lance photographer in Chicago USA. Her expertise lies in Potrait and Street photography and has done various pre-wedding shoots.
