PAST EVENTS

2007

• Indian/Finnish Poetry(16th may,2007) in collaboration with the Embassy of Finland, Delhi at the Embassy Premises to express convergence of thoughts in the verse of poets from the two cultures. 

2008

• Indian/Romanian Poetry on 14th March 2008 at Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with “EXPRESSIONS” the Creative Writing Society of KNC,University of Delhi.

• Indian/American Poetry on 27th March 2008 at The American Centre, Delhi 

• Indian/ Serbian Poetry on 14 october 2008 at The Embassy of  The Republic of Serbia , Delhi  

2009

• Programme on Indian/Portugese Poetry  on the 3rd of November 2009 at the Portugese Embassy in Delhi. 

• On the invitation of FIRC, The French cultural Centre,Dr Malhotra co-ordinated a programme with readings by visiting French poet Andre Velter and Indian poets (8th December 2009)as part of BONJOUR INDIA.

2010

• Programme on Indian/Portugese Poetry on the 30th of September 2010 at The Portugese Embassy in Delhi.

• A Multicultural, Multilingual Poetic Dialogue between the poetry of Japan, Romania, Russia, Serbia, USA, Portugal, France and India on the 9th of December, 2010,at 6pm at The India International Centre, New Delhi in collaboration with Universal Poetry UNDER THE Aegis of World Poetry,Canada. 

2011

• Indian/Italian poetry on 18th October, 2011 at The Italian Cultural Centre, Embassy of Italy, New Delhi in collaboration with,EXPRESSIONS,  KNC, University of Delhi.

• A  collaborative poetic evening of Indian /American poetry interspersed with Dance called Expressive Cadences was presented by PAC and Universal Poetry at Neemrana on the invitation of ICRIER.

2012

• Poetic Cadences in Rhythm with Dance, an evening of Indian/Hungarian poetry in dialogue with dance on 28th September, 2012 at The Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, Embassy of Hungary, New Delhi in collaboration withEXPRESSIONS,  KNC, University of Delhi.

2014

• Musings N Melodies, an evening of poetry with musical interludes at India International Centre organised by Poetry Across Cultures in collaboration with Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre (HICC),Embassy of Hungary,  and Universal Poetry in September 2014.

• On 5th December 2014, Dr. Rita Malhotra and student members of  PAC and Expression, Kamala Nehru College were invited to an interactive session with Prof.Elena Jolanta Zabarskaite, Director of Lithuanian Language Institute (Lithuania) at the Lithuanian Embassy. The session was about the Lithuanian language,its origin, development and resemblance with Sanskrit language. The highlight of the afternoon was an interactive session with Prof. Elena and His Excellency, Ambassador of Lithuanian Embassy.This event was part of the Embassy initiatives to celebrate 300 year of the First Lithuanian Poet.

2015-2016

• Expressions under the aegis of PAC organized two literary readings spread over two semesters during 2015-16 at Kamala Nehru College,University of Delhi on “The Poetry of Hungary” and “The Poetry of France” wherein students of the college read selected poems from the repertoire of Hugary and France resp. and participated in large nos. The latter was organized in collaboration with the French Information and Cultural Centre , Embassy of France, New Delhi.The former was graced by Prof Margit Koves of The University of Delhi and the latter by Dr Nicolas of FIRC.

2017

• “Poetry with a pulse” was a literary morning organized in collaboration with Expressions ,KNC on the 20th of March 2017 with award winning Hungarian poet Dr Gabor Lanczkor and  Flautist Dr Krisztina Lanczkor at KNC.Dr Krisztina provided the musical rhythms.

2018

• "A Soiree of Words and Rythms" , an alfresco literary evening on Indian and Serbian poetry interspersed with music, organised at the Serbian Embassy , New Delhi March 2018.
