Buying a physical copy of SHALALA (or several if you can afford it) is the most significant way you can support Taeyong's solo debut.
ARIA is not prioritized for this solo, so ideally choose a retailer that is Hanteo certified.
The Pod of Sky Whales Linktree has a list of current Australian retailers with preorders open and group orders.
Make sure you have an iTunes account setup. If you do not have an iOS/Mac, you can download iTunes for Windows onto your laptop. I will be borrowing family members’ iTunes accounts, but if you wish to support by multi-buying, consider making multiple accounts.
Remember that we will be targeting iTunes song + album charts. (Some may also choose to support the MV chart)

Australia will not be specifically fundraising (see our funds management statement) but we may privately pool funds as needed.
If you wish to contribute to this, contact us, but we would prefer that your personal budget go towards purchase of physicals.
You may wish to donate to one of the overseas fundraisers. Three particular fundraisers cover key areas that Australian fans cannot directly contribute to:
Rose House / MUSIC4TY - Korean music streaming and downloads
LTYUSA - digital purchases (e.g. iTunes/Stationhead) and physical purchase for Billboard USA
Taeyong Project Indonesia - Korean digitals and coordinating iTunes teams.
Consider which streaming efforts you are positioned to help with and read the relevant streaming guide. Ideally Youtube (MV) + at least 1 music platform (most significant are Apple and Spotify).
If you have multiple devices, you may wish to support on one more platform. This could be another international platform (e.g. Deezer) or it could be a Korean platform (e.g. Melon / Bugs/ Genie)
We recommend that streaming efforts continue for at least 2-3 weeks for longevity of the song, as mass streaming Week 1 and a drop off Week 2 may not be helpful.
Follow Taeyong on Spotify / Apple / Youtube Music / the relevant streaming platform.
If SM gives us the option, please pre-save the song on Spotify/Apple/Deezer when the links come out.
For motivation, community, and just having fun, consider joining streaming parties through Renaissance, Stationhead, and Scener apps!
1) Blue boxes indicate activities where small kpop fandoms are best positioned to provide targeted support.
2) Key activities are Tiktok/Reels + requesting the song on Radio/TV Shows/other media because they help the songs reach ‘real’ GP listeners and have strong flow-on / secondary effects on the entire ecosystem.
3) Spotify Monthly Listeners is included in black because it’s useful to see how ‘hard’ it is for a fandom to increase this statistic - to increase it we have to collab with other fandoms to widen Taeyong’s ‘reach’ or we have to influence playlisting or we have to get it viral on TikTok.
Consider increasing activity on Tiktok / Reels, and get faster at making short videos to Taeyongs music!
Shazam is very easy to do and takes seconds. Install Shazam and familiarise yourself with a basic guide.
Plan how you can participate in requests to include Taeyong’s music in radio shows, TV programs, Youtube/Twitch reactors’ content or even local work/club/party contexts
Follow Taeyong on all relevant SNS if you haven’t.
Twitter hashtagging. Follow LTYGLobal, ROSEHOUSE_ and TAEYONG_TH as they will be leading hashtag events. Familiarise with trending guidelines and remember the first 30 (up to 60) minutes of trending a hashtag is the most critical and when you are most likely to trend high

Kpop fans often focus on reacting to Naver / Daum articles and if you can, definitely create accounts to do this.
However, it is also helpful and important to search on Google, Youtube etc. for 'TAEYONG' , '태용 ' or 'テヨン' and interact with international media articles.

The apps required for music shows are Idol Champ, Mnet Plus, Mubeat, SuperStar X.
Additionally, other apps such as Choeaedal and Whosfan can also be helpful for getting ads/ promos for Taeyong’s music.
Duckad app (see the linked Carrd) allows you to exchange votes for streams on Melon/Bugs/Genie and may be helpful.
Remember that birthday voting for Taeyong is also ongoing, pace yourselves.
Most won’t have all of the apps listed here, but we suggest that you have all 7 of the major apps (some are a choice of 2).

Following protect_tyong / ProtectLTY and participating in report chats is an important way to support for tyongfs, but if this strongly affects your mental health, it’s important to take a step back.
Consider taking time off SNS platforms with high levels of negative discourse, Twitter/Tiktok and supporting as a Youtube-only / IG-only fan if this is better for your well being.
