The POD Adjunct/Part-time Faculty SIG aims to provide a space for educational developers to explore ideas, discuss issues, and creatively and collaboratively solve problems related to supporting part-time and adjunct faculty in higher education. We also research, publish, and present on topics related to adjunct and part-time faculty, their working conditions in academia, and their educational development needs.
The POD Adjunct/Part-time SIG will leverage technology and community wisdom to promote the visibility, circumstances, and needs of adjunct faculty in higher education and to provide guidance and resources to any person wishing to support this community of faculty.
