This funding is for financial assistance for the 2024 POD Network conference in Chicago, IL (November 10-14), including conference registration, travel to the conference, and POD Network membership for one year. Please plan to attend the Adjunct SIG meetings prior to and following the conference. In the case of projects funded by the POD Network, we request that the grantee acknowledge the POD Network in any publications, presentations, reports, or webpages about the initiative. Please use the following statement: “This material is based upon work supported by the POD Network, 2024-2025.” If you would like to use the POD Network logo along with this statement, please contact Gaye Webb, POD Administrative Manager, at podoffice@podnetwork.org.
We recognize that all individuals have multiple and intersecting identities. In addition, adjunct faculty, also known as contingent or part-time faculty, are a diverse population consisting of those who teach part-time. Adjunct faculty are also diverse in that they may be professionals and/or retirees wanting to give back to future generations or a professional who teaches exclusively.
