Country Towne is situated within Warren Township, Lake County, Illinois. The township office is located just northeast of our subdivision and houses the township supervisor and assessor's office as well as the highway department. Additionally the township has a senior center and a teen center here, and an office providing youth and family services.

Within the County, any property improvement and/or change may need to be reigistered or permitted through this department. The Warren-Newport Library, located on O'Plaine Road just south of the O'Plaine campus of Warren Township High School services patrons residing in both Warren and Newport Townships. Programs offered are numerous; reading clubs, author visits, used books sales, story time, college prep, and more. There is also a Bookmobile which stops monthly in the Warren Township Park starting in August 2023 (see "mobile services" on the website linked above)
Although Country Towne is located outside the Village of Gurnee limits, the Gurnee Park District offers a broad variety of activities for all ages (childcare, sports, fitness, etc.).
